Tao Te Ching - Chapter 14

14
Look, and it can't be seen.
Listen, and it can't be heard.
Reach, and it can't be grasped.

Above, it isn't bright.
Below, it isn't dark.
Seamless, unnamable,
it returns to the realm of nothing.
Form that includes all forms,
image without an image,
subtle, beyond all
conception.

Approach it and there is no beginning;
follow it and there is
no end.
You can't know it, but you can be it,
at ease in your own life.
Just realize where you come from:
this is the essence of
wisdom.

...day 58/90 for me in the same room and I have met the enemy - he is me, as usual.  No matter what room I attend, I keep meeting the judge on page 55.

Whenever the sharing goes dark, I just try to remember the first day I crawled into AA, broken, clueless, and just so sick and tired of being me.  Just for today there is a new me - like a
beautiful phoenix risen from the ashes that is alcoholism. I owe it all to a very good teacher - a most venerable teacher  - a teacher that knows that the path to relief always ends at God's feet, and begins in an AA meeting.

I am going to have a hard time saying goodbye after 90 days, but I was
never meant for that place.  After I am gone, hopefully all that will be remembered was the love I tried to share.

Grateful, grateful am I to be a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.  Always the lesson is the same "...love is in the middle".  Life is so grand - there are no regrets, only missed opportunities to be of service.  Maybe I'll get to them on the next go 'round.

One thing is for certain - no matter where I land, so long as I stick close to AA, I'll be home.  God bless us all, every one.

Welcome as a witness to a fools journey out of the darkness. I welcome all tidings - you are all my teachers on this path toward a meaningful and purposeful sobriety.
